As a club we pride ourselves on being open and transparent with all our dealings. As we chase success we have no intention of compromising this policy or our friendship or our enjoyment of the game. Therefore I feel it necessary to reiterate our policy with regard to squad selection.

As our club grows so does our number of players, and with the registration period now open we can announce that we aim to have 20 registered players.

The current rule, agreed by the squad at the start of the season is as follows:

An appropriate level of committment to the team needs to be shown by attending most training sessions.

If we win and have played well, we will remain unchanged

If we draw and play well, we may change the odd player.

If we draw and play badly, then a few positions will be up for grabs

If we lose, all positions are open to change

With this in mind I must stress squads for big matchs (i.e. cup semi, cup final) will be chosen on form and nothing else. Therefore if you wish to make the sixteen you have to win your spot and perform in order to keep it. This brings me to my final point. The format for the squad will be as follows, but please bare in mind a player can play more than one position so if you are successful in a position that you are not listed as playing in, this doesnt mean youd lose your place;

1                    GK

2                    DEF

3                    DEF

4                    DEF

5                    DEF

6                    MID

7                    MID

8                    MID

9                    MID

10                CF

11                CF

12                GK

13                DEF

14                MID

15                MID

16                CF

For the good of the team I challenge you all to fight for your place and support each other no matter who plays.
